Hello everyone, A few months ago, I created an Apple Developer account using my current name and address. I have since created a company specializing in iOS development, and I would like to update my contract with the new information. Is it possible or should I create an other dev account ?

Hey everyone, Starting two days ago, we've seen a problem regarding the text explaining our offer code's terms. We have: Auto-renewable subscription Subscription offer Offer code Custom offer code This issue pops up when you click on the custom offer code link. It used to display "50% off for the first year," but now it just shows "offerTerms." We can't seem to find a way to change this in App Store Connect, which leads us to believe it might be a glitch. Has anyone else encountered this? Any advice on how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated! Juno

Hi, I am desperate to get an update through. AppStore connects keeps printing the error "Unable to add for review" There is no issue to fix. I have already contacted Apple but no response so far. Has someone had this issue and been able to resolve it?

I'm submitting an update to an app which was originally submitted in 2008. So, it has one of the "old" app id prefixes, not the Team ID prefix used by newer apps. When I try to validate this app built in Xcode 15 in organizer, I get a warning that the app id prefix in the current store app is changing from the "old" prefix to the new Team ID prefix. I didn't change anything. The App Identifier, Certificates, and Profile are the same that I used last June under Xcode 14. So, there seems to be an issue with Xcode 15. Same issue under 15.0 and 15.2. Anyone know a fix for this? This still works fine in Xcode 14. If I can't come up with a fix, I'll just submit with 14 as that's still valid until April 2024 I think. Regards, Patrick

I received the request(through email) for trader status update in App Store Connect page from Apple. I couldn't understand who are all comes under the traders & non-traders list from the apple's definition. How to know if you’re a trader " The DSA defines a trader as “any natural person, or any legal person irrespective of whether privately or publicly owned, who is acting, including through any person acting in his or her name or on his or her behalf, for purposes relating to his or her trade, business, craft or profession.” If you have questions about your status as a trader, consult with your legal advisor. " and, it seems the the DSA is applicable only for EU region. We're not yet published our apps in the EU region. Should we have to update the trader status information in Appstore connect? even if no apps are published in EU region? News updated link: https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=x60uzbu9

Today the Connect page asks me to confirm if I am a trader or not under DSA. I am an independent developer and have several apps in App Store. I have no idea what a trader is. The DSA defines a trader as “any natural person, or any legal person irrespective of whether privately or publicly owned, who is acting, including through any person acting in his or her name or on his or her behalf, for purposes relating to his or her trade, business, craft or profession.” If you have questions about your status as a trader, consult with your legal advisor. I emailed Connect support but their reply is very "official" which confuses me more.

I am running Xcode 15.3. I have downloaded an app ApiKey that I am attempting to store in my keychain. I have an M3 Mac and running Sonoma 14.4.1. From the command line I run xcrun notarytool store-credentials which prompts me to enter Profile name, Path to App Store Connect API private key, App Store Connect API Key ID, and App Store Connect API Issuer ID. I provide this info and only get the following: Validating your credentials... zsh: trace trap xcrun notarytool store-credentials I am stuck here and need to resolve this. Any suggestions?

Currently, I'm reducing the ios version being sold on the App Store with the same app id and identifier to visionos, and I'm trying to upload it using the same identifier, developer id, and icloud, but I can't upload it because of an error. I didn't know what the problem was, so I updated the update of the ios version early, but I uploaded the review without any problems. Uploading the visionos single version has a profile problem, so I would appreciate it if you could tell me the solution. In addition, a lot of the code used in the ios version is not compatible with visionos, so we have created a new project for visionos.

I have an app that got approved yesterday and is now available on the App Store. When I look at the app in App Store I noticed there's a misspelling on one of the preview images (screen shots) of the app. The misspelling is not in the app itself, but on a promotional subtitle on one of the preview image. However, when I go into App Store Connect everything on app page is greyed out, so I can't change screen shots, description etc. It says "Ready for Distribution" in the top left corner even though the app is already released. I thought you were able to change these things without uploading a new app version from Xcode, so why can't I change any information?

Dears, I have been exploring the documentation provided by Apple regarding app data management through API requests. Specifically, I am interested in the possibility of initiating the app creation process itself using a POST API request sent via Postman or similar tools. Attached is the documentation link I've been referring to: https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/create-an-app-record/add-a-new-app Could you kindly assist me in clarifying whether it's feasible to create an entire application using such API requests? If not, I would appreciate any guidance or resources you could provide on the appropriate procedures for app creation within the Apple ecosystem. Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response. Warm regards,

Got a notice two weeks ago that my app would be removed due to some screenshots that weren't in compliance with the guidelines. Have since then uploaded a new version with screenshots that are in compliance with the guidelines, but the reviewer still decided to reject based on the same guideline. Wrote a reply to the reviewer 24 hours ago (10 min after the rejection), explaining that the screenshots are in compliance, but still has not gotten a reply. And today the app was removed from sale. How long should one have to wait for a reply from the reviewer? Have filed an appeal. but that usually takes days, and even weeks. So my app will lose all momentum on the charts! All because the reviewer is extremely incompetent. Any ways to speed up the process of getting the new version approved?

Hello everyone, I'm excited to share that I've recently developed my first app! While the app is functioning well, I encountered an issue during the submission process. It seems that my app was rejected due to the screenshots and videos provided. Currently, I've taken screenshots and annotated them to explain how the app works, using arrows and text to guide users through its features. However, I noticed that there's a requirement for "3 App Previews," and I'm unsure how to proceed with this. Could someone please advise me on what to do next? Should I create videos to fulfill this requirement, or is there another recommended approach? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance Mike

Hi, we have an old cordova/phonegap app that we are trying to upload through Transporter, but suddenly we started getting the following error: "Missing Info.plist value. A value for the key “WKApplication”, or “WKWatchKitApp” if your project has a WatchKit App Extension target, is required in “.app/.app” bundle. For details, see:" We don't support Apple Watch and there is no target for Apple Watch, there does not seem to be anything to do with Apple Watch in our XCode project, yet we are getting the above complain. We using the following versions: XCode 15.0 Cordova: 12.0.0 cordova-ios: 6.3.0 There has been no change to our provisioning profile. Any idea why we are getting the above complain?

For app reviews, we attach a demo video showing a particular functionality of the app in the app store connect. However, since thursday last week, we've been getting an error while uploading the file. The app review was rejected due to missing video. The same error appears when attaching the file in the reply section. This could be an outage.

I am trying to use the AppStoreConnect API to set the price of an app. In the documentation (here) it suggests that it is possible to set the price using the API. "To set a price for your app using App Store Connect API, create a relationship between the apps resource and appPrices" However it links to the instructions on how to set a price using the AppStoreConnect web site. Looking at the website it appears that the pricing is being set by sending a PATCH to the app record itself but on the API this results in a 405 (METHOD_NOT_ALLOWED) Is it possible to set a price using the API, and if so what endpoint should I be sending to?

I submitted a review, but soon after I removed the build from review because some bugs were found. Normally, the status should go 'Developer rejected'. But this time, in App Review, it stuck in 'Processing' for a long time. And App Store Connect says 'You have an App Review submission cancellation in progress. You can resubmit items for review again after the cancellation is complete.' I contacted the app review team but have not got reply so far. How can I deal with this problem?

I successfully submitted my project to App Store Connect, and got it approved for external TestFlight testing. I have made updates to my project, and am trying to submit another build, but am getting the error: "The value for key CFBundeShortVersionString[1.0] in info.plist must contain a higher version.." I attempt to change both the short bundle version, and regular bundle version to 1.1.0 without any luck. I also attempted to go into the "Versioning" within build settings to change both the current project version and marketing version to 1.1.0 without any luck. I am confused what is going on, and why my build is not just incrementing as expected. Any suggestions is very appreciated.

While trying to register a marketplace domain as documented on (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/add_a_marketplace_domain) I'm getting the following error: {'errors': [{'id': '911f9861-23b3-42a2-80d2-a46bc7218246', 'status': '409', 'code': 'ENTITY_ERROR.ATTRIBUTE.INVALID', 'title': 'The provided entity includes an attribute with an invalid value', 'detail': 'Provided domain is invalid.', 'source': {'pointer': '/data/attributes/domain'}}]} I've tried multiple forms of writing the same domain and keep getting the same error. Wondering if there are any special rules for the domain format that I'm unaware of.

Hello, I have an education application and I want to sell trial exams in this application, or I want people to create exams in exchange for money. Can I use a different payment provider other than Apple's app purchase for this? If I can't use it, is Apple's cut rate 30%? I also want to add this. In my application, users already purchase premium membership packages through Apple's in app purchase service. Can anyone with knowledge help? Thanks

Hello, Our application operates on a service-based model with a subscription system. We've noticed that some users have subscribed to our service, utilized it, and then requested a refund from Apple. However, we have already incurred charges from our vendors for the services utilized by these users. We are exploring options to prevent users from requesting refunds for subscriptions after utilizing our services. Is there any mechanism or strategy available to prevent users from obtaining refunds for subscriptions once they have utilized the service? Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
