Change Pricing & Availability

I am trying to change the availability of an app in different countries. Previously is was only available in South Africa, but we now need it available in other regions. I know where to do this change in App Store Connect, but was wondering if there's a waiting period for the changes to take effect? Or will my app be available right away?

If you post a new version and set a new distribution region, that will be as fast as getting a new app approved. Just a day or so if no major change.

So I assume changing availability regional's will be faster, within a day (just take care of possible legal issues, as export control if you use encryption for instance).
