  • I have this exact problem. It lead to me being sectioned for making it up despite no authorities wanting to, as much as take a glance, let alone act. Really need help with this, and Apple has merely sent me in a daily loop, going back again and again to their stores. Apple store based restoring the device doesn’t work incredibly

Exact same diag report with disk write error! Tried logging in to register & comment and was forced into resetting my password for no reason at all, out of the blue. And then my two factor code would not pop up on my device. Had been troubleshooting my Apple Watch 6, that works perfectly, perfectly in voice over mode, that is. The display is blank though, following a restore due to an issue with it getting stuck at WSOD, (where I could also navigate perfectly using VO mode. It’s extremely odd. I successfully restored it after shutting it down in VO, and display concern resolved briefly, but with errors that watchOS update failed, even though watch app settings showed device was updated to current watchOS! This is truly strange behavior, and in-line with so many folks reporting issues with watch 6, AND especially major display problems… it’s like a device driver is causing major corrupted firmware. I should also mention that the first time I unpaired to troubleshoot said display concern was after an update too, and I had an error pop up on my iPhone that the device didn’t unpair successfully. It’s is if the watch activation lock didn’t get switched off all the way or something, and is now locked in VO mode forever… why else would the security of my account and multiple attempts to restore/unpair/re-pair my watch force me to reset my password? My account literally was locked down, I was forced to reset my password. I saw the error in my diagnostic log, researched issue, and got locked out. I’m a long time user of Apple products, we had an Apple Watch 6 that met the criteria of the repair program, before it was available, as it happened to the device a month after purchase. It was replaced. The replacement watch is fine. I Should note This is not an issue with my replacement, just a different watch 6 and a 44 mm display. So I’ve done nothing but research on how to troubleshoot this type of issue. I’m not an engineer and might be extremely wrong about the issues related, it just seems so odd. And to see that disk write error show up in my diagnostic report following all my trouble on watch, and then account, it almost has to be related to software or firmware trouble. And my watch’s behavior doesn’t seem like a hardware issue at all. what else would allow for complete navigation of my watch to be possible through touch and VO, and blank display issue. Just hope sharing helps our engineers get to the bottom of what is happening to our accounts, my device woes, watch 6 and diag log on previously paired iPhone XR.
