Hi,
I have a media app that works fine when it is launched from the phone and the menu buttons work perfectly. However the reverse scenario does not work i.e. if the app is not launched on phone but the App icon shows up on the screen - clicking on the icon does not launch the app.
Any ideas what could be going on?

I have the same problem, it seems like there is a problem in newest version of iOS
What happens when you tap on your app icon in CarPlay? Does the screen return to the home screen icon view in CarPlay?
It sounds like your app may be crashing. Can you provide any crash reports from your app's process? Thanks!
