Does signing into my developer account for beta testing effect my Apple ID?

Hi, I would like to log into my developer Apple ID to use the new iPadOS update, but I just want to be sure that this will add my developer account to my iPad as they need to be separate.

I think you would have to log into your developer Apple ID in Settings on your iPad, instead of your usual Apple ID. Then when you go to Software Update you could use the Beta version of the iPadOS17.
