Electron's app notarisation

Question

I am facing a problem in electron's apps notarisations. I have submitted my NodeJS code and the validations takes a long time.

Hope, anyone can clarify why it takes so long.

Roughly speaking, what does “a long time” mean? Minutes? Hours? Days?

Also, if you use Xcode to create a small test project from one of the built-in templates, do you see the same problem with that?
