About your developer account

The Apple Developer website provides the tools and information you need to make great apps. If you’re new to development on Apple platforms, you can get started for free. Simply accept the Apple Developer Agreement and an account will be created for you. Use this account to download beta software and tools, visit forums, and report bugs.

When you’re ready to build more advanced capabilities and distribute your apps, you can join the Apple Developer Program to distribute your apps worldwide or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program to distribute proprietary, in-house apps within your organization. If you join a program, you’ll see additional membership-related options in your account.
