We are developed app based on driver behaviour using location and sensor data. It's working in both background and foreground using region monitoring. Its consume more battery comparing other apps like. Its reduce 5% for every 5 to 10 mins of duration. We are using for our app functionality Location (Always) - every 1sec Sensor - Accelerometer - every 20data for 1sec Background - Region monitoring Time Action - 1sec for 20time Any possible way to reduce battery consuming? If any please suggest your points. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Since the latest update of iOS (17.4) I can tell that I can see battery drain on my iPhone 15 Pro! Especially at nights! I use Wi-Fi calling so when I get ready to sleep I turn airplane mode on and leave it on all night. The next morning I get up and my iPhone has already lost at least 10% battery (!!!) Today it had a loss of 25% (!!!). It went from 66% to 51% in 8 hours! In the battery usage there are social media apps mostly with the most of consumption. I also kill all the apps from the background every single night before I go to sleep. So what "eats" my battery so much at night? Any thoughts or tips please?

I have an iPhone 13 Promax, the battery health of which is 78%, and I would like it to be 100% after replacement. Most of the repairmen say that the cost is high, but a repair shop has announced a reasonable price. Has anyone had the experience of repairing in this repair shop? https://apple-irani.ir

I am having the similar issue with changing with my new MBP M2. Computer charged a couple of times and now on fourth battery cycle, charged from approx <25% to 50% then quit charging. Blinking amber LED on cable USB-C to MagSafe T connection with 140W power adapter. Running Sonoma 14.2.1. First three battery cycles, all charged to 100%. I will update this post with more information once I test adapter, cable and different charging scheme (to test computer)...

I am using a Macbook Air M1, 2020 model, and I bought it last June, and some weeks before I got a battery backup of 10 hours, and now my battery backup is around 5 to 6 hours only, is it because of any problem or just because it's like that.

Ever since updating to watchOS 10, my series 7 Watch with Cellular and no active plan has been experiencing major battery drain issues. After receiving full charge, the battery is drained completely within about 3-4 hours, which was not the case prior. There was no noticeable change with the 10.1 public update which mentioned specifically that it resolves issues with some users experiencing rapid battery loss. Being so disappointed, I submitted an issue report to Apple with the details including the fact that the battery health percentage was at 87%. (Don’t know what it was prior to the v10 update). My frustration with the problem then led me into enabling beta updates for my watch and I proceeded to install the beta version 10.2 as I saw users in some forums stating it resolved their issues. Needless to say, after updating, the watch worked normally for a few hours, noticed it was dead, put it to charge (with a known working charger), and now it’s been several days in which it does not turn on no matter the combination of button presses or state of charging. The only indication of life I see is that sometimes a visual of the charging puck with a red voltage symbol appears when I place it to charge. It doesn’t boot whether I leave it charging over night or just sitting there. This is the first time I’ve been dissatisfied with an update released by Apple. Now I have to go out of my way to get it working again. Would love any suggestions before I am forced to go speak to a Genius...

Installed 17.2 Beta on 14Pro and since then the charging port is not recognized. Can only charge wirelessly. Took to Apple Store and was told its impossible to reverse to the previous version since they can’t physically connect to iTunes. Repair is $649 or I can trade it in. Everything worked flawlessly before the 17.2 install. The diagnostics show hardware is good as well. So to summarize, while helping Apple finesse their software they installed a bug that disables the port and renders the phone pretty useless. Way to go Apple!!!

Hey guys, so a few days ago I bought a new mbp m2 with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD, I'm really enjoying the UX on it, but I bought it primarily for the powerhouse I get on the go, specifically the main reason is I'm developing using flutter, with lOS emulators running using XCode, my IDE is vsCode which is running constantly alongside Google Chrome, so basically Im mostly using vsCode, lOS emulators and google chrome, whilst Im coding my mbp gets very hot and the battery starts draining somewhat fast lasting about on average for 5 to 6 h, and even when not coding but just web browsing, watching videos, etc.. battery still holds for about 10 h. And also I need to mention that I have updated to MacOS 14 Sonoma, so my main question because my mop is basically brand new with being old just a few days, is this normal behavior or if not is there anyway to minimize the battery drain? I have checked the internet and mostly it's the same stuff, use CleanMyMac X, check using. Activity Monitor highest consumer of resources, etc.. I have done this already, but there is little to no impact on the fast battery drain, are there any other action for you to suggest to me to solve this problem. Tnx for any help in advance PS. I know that running IOS emulator, vsCode and Chrome is quite demanding.

I have an M1 (2020 version) and an M2 (2022 version), I've updated the m2 (to Sonoma) first and the m1 the next day. It works just fine but charging was intermittent. The day after, both Macs stopped charging totally. I've tried all possible solutions from the internet and Apple's support chat but nothing worked. I've tried 4 chargers in total and my chargers would work on my brother's Macs which are still in Ventura. My chargers which would work on my Macs would work perfectly fine on my brother's Macs (Ventura). I do not see any other threads/forums online of people having this issue so I wanted to check here if anybody else has the same issue as this? P.S. I've sent both Macs to an authorized Apple service center for diagnostics but I'm wondering how this could happen since both Macs would work fine before I've upgraded. The issues started to appear only after the upgrade.

Dear you guys, Before updating iOS 17, I thought that this version will have some new features or some features will be enhanced but not. It's really make my phone's battery drain more than as usual. Normally, I just charge battery only 1 times/ a day but now after updating to iOS 17 I often charge 2 times or more while I still use the same apps
