Since April 1, 2022, the App Review Team and App Review Board have been consistently rejecting my app, the reason being, "Guideline 4.3 - Design We continue to find that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam." This is 100% false because my app has unique features not found on other apps on the App Store. The strange part is the supposedly similar apps don't even offer the features that my app offers yet those apps are able to get their app submissions approved. I should also mention those apps were published after mine. I have provided screenshots, video demos, source code, spoken to App Review team and they are still rejecting the app because of 4.3.0. It appears they are overlooking the information I've been providing and responding with generic responses. Should I file a complaint with the BBB? It's evident that selective bias and unfair treatment is happening with the App Review Team and App Review Board. I've exhausted all options and I need advice on what to do next. I've spent too much money and effort to have the app stuck in this endless cycle of rejections.

There is an issue with the price-setting on in-app purchases. The interface for setting the price of an IAP is out of sync with what is actually set. For instance, I changed the price to $6.99 and in the app it displayed $7.99. Later I changed it to $5.99 and the app displayed $6.99. I think the frontend is setting the wrong value in the backend (database).

Hi everyone, we recently integrated UICloudSharingController to share cloudkit records on one of our apps, but we noticed while testing that the icloud share link opens the wrong app on App Store if we invite a participant who has not the app installed on his device. We thought it was because for another our app (app store opens the download page for this app) we basically duplicated the same coredata/cloudkit implementation, forgetting maybe some cloudkit references of the first app and indeed we noticed a wrong icloud container assignment for the second app, which essentially had two containers, the correct one (its own) and the one of the first app (the wrong one). So, we fixed the problem, every app has his own container now and only his own, and we updated the provisional profiles as well, in order to have the correct icloud containers entitlements. Unfortunately the problem persists and after check everything else (containers, app groups, PersistentStoreDescriptions etc.) we don't have any more ideas. What else should we check? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Some more detail of the issue: If we have the app installed on the device the icloud share link opens the right app. The same icloud share link works properly on Mac Catalyst (the App Store opens the correct app page if we don't have the app installed). The problem is only on iOS.

Hi all I am sure that this is something obvious that I am missing but I would really appreciate a bit of help. In our App Store listing, the screenshots appear as a default under 'iPad' first, then followed by iPhone. The description also defaults to 'Designed for iPad'. Is there a simple way to change this so that we can show iPhone first? Also, simply for my on-going reference and knowledge, why would the listing default to iPad before iPhone? Many thanks to all.

The App Store overlay shows "Cannot connect to App Store" for apps distributed via Unlisted App Distribution. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? In the console, it shows the following error: Failed to get LSApplicationRecord for <RBSLaunchRequest| xpcservice<com.apple.AppStore.ProductPageExtension([application<com.apple.ios.StoreKitUIService>:64011])>; "Launching extension com.apple.AppStore.ProductPageExtension(8B1648A9-8479-4F4F-A74E-D70BC7A24322) for host 64011"> with error Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-10814 "(null)" UserInfo={_LSLine=1538, _LSFunction=runEvaluator}

My team recently released an app to the iOS app store. We are trying to add the Smart App Banner to our website to promote the app, but the banner is not shown. When the page loads, there is a flash of an empty Smart App Banner before it is automatically dismissed. This happens on every page load. If I put use an app ID of other apps the banner appears. I've triple checked that I'm using the correct app ID. So it seems like it is an issue with my app. I can see my app in the App Store, so I know it's available. I've tested on multiple phones.

I  am completely at a loss here - I have a react native app created within expo. It runs perfectly well with expo go. I then built it using eas on my Mac (latest Ventura OS installed) and posted it to app store connect and installed it through TestFlight - it crashed immediately. I'm VERY new to this so it took me a long time to figure out how to troubleshoot this but I ended up finding this in the crash logs: Thread 2 name: Dispatch queue: com.facebook.react.ExceptionsManagerQueue Thread 2 Crashed: 0 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x2076d8200 __pthread_kill + 8 1 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x217b3a1ac pthread_kill + 268 2 libsystem_c.dylib 0x1d2111c8c abort + 180 3 libc++abi.dylib 0x217a7ab8c abort_message + 132 4 libc++abi.dylib 0x217a6aa80 demangling_terminate_handler() + 336 5 libobjc.A.dylib 0x1c3e11d3c _objc_terminate() + 144 6 libc++abi.dylib 0x217a79f28 std::__terminate(void (*)()) + 20 7 libc++abi.dylib 0x217a79ec4 std::terminate() + 56 8 libdispatch.dylib 0x1d20adff0 _dispatch_client_callout + 40 9 libdispatch.dylib 0x1d20b5694 _dispatch_lane_serial_drain + 672 10 libdispatch.dylib 0x1d20b61e0 _dispatch_lane_invoke + 384 11 libdispatch.dylib 0x1d20c0e10 _dispatch_workloop_worker_thread + 652 12 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x217b33df8 _pthread_wqthread + 288 13 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x217b33b98 start_wqthread + 8 And: Thread 2 crashed with ARM Thread State (64-bit): x0: 0x0000000000000000 x1: 0x0000000000000000 x2: 0x0000000000000000 x3: 0x0000000000000000 x4: 0x0000000217a7e0f5 x5: 0x000000016b4c6430 x6: 0x000000000000006e x7: 0xffffffff00000600 x8: 0xb1cfaa93a40be1da x9: 0xb1cfaa92cf4791da x10: 0x0000000000000200 x11: 0x000000000000000b x12: 0x000000000000000b x13: 0x00000000001ff800 x14: 0x00000000000007fb x15: 0x000000008c033819 x16: 0x0000000000000148 x17: 0x000000016b4c7000 x18: 0x0000000000000000 x19: 0x0000000000000006 x20: 0x0000000000001603 x21: 0x000000016b4c70e0 x22: 0x0000000000000000 x23: 0x000000016b4c70e0 x24: 0x0000000000000000 x25: 0x0000000280c888e8 x26: 0x0000000000000114 x27: 0x0000000000000000 x28: 0x0000000283787840 fp: 0x000000016b4c63a0 lr: 0x0000000217b3a1ac sp: 0x000000016b4c6380 pc: 0x00000002076d8200 cpsr: 0x40001000 far: 0x000000021e5abf50 esr: 0x56000080 Address size fault I  spent an entire day searching for causes surrounding these errors - there were references to this but nothing related to what I was doing. I then went back to the basics - literally: npx create-expo-app TestApp eas build:configure eas build --platform ios And loaded this into a simulator (downloaded the ipa file, changed it to a .zip file, transferred the app file to the simulator) and it immediately crashed again. I've used various versions of expo, node, eas cli, etc - all giving me the same results. I tried using ErrorUtils to send an error to my node server but that didn't work (I might have set it up wrong). I'm not sure how to proceed in troubleshooting this. It seems like the basic process of creating an expo app and having it installable in a simulator or an iPhone isn't working for me. I haven't used (nor do I know how to) Xcode much outside of using the simulators. Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

When calling the SKPaymentQueue.default().presentCodeRedemptionSheet() method on real app store app it will present redemption sheet and after entering the offer code in it is displaying screen where Cancel and Redeem buttons do not work. As seen in the attached picture. What could be the reason for this and what solutions can be found to solve the problem? Please someone help it is really frustrating. Environment: iOS 16.3

I have looked high and low all and cannot find an answer or solution. I have an app that is primarily used by Mac users. I am looking to implement promo codes in the coming weeks. The presentCodeRedemptionSheet call does not work for Mac Catalyst apps saying "This function doesn’t affect Mac apps built with Mac Catalyst" in the documentation. AppStore.presentOfferCodeRedeemSheet also does not work for Mac Catalyst. If it is the case that you can't redeem in-app, that is fine if I can direct users to the Mac App Store to redeem promo codes, but I cannot find a way to do that either. I can only find a route to redeem gift cards. I have also tried clicking on a specific promo code link (something like https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=00000000&code=PROMOCODE) and that just redirects to the Gift Card redemption screen in the Mac App Store. So is there any way for a Mac only user (a user that does not have an iPhone or iPad) to use app promo codes? Thanks!

Issue: I have an app built on Unity for the IOS platform. The app has multiple external links. When I clicked them one by one then safari opens that link. I switch back to my app and again click the links. If I do this multiple times then my app crashes. Context: The app was working totally fine when I have IOS version 15.4. I have done this step multiple times and in an extremely fast way but not a single time did I face a crash. But as soon I update the IOS version to 16.4 then crash starts to happen. Build Environment: Unity: 2021.3.14f1 MacOS: 12.6.3 Xcode: 14.0.1 (14A400) IOS: 16.4 I would appreciate it if somebody take time from their busy schedule and help me out.

Hey, I am trying to get XCode to install on my Mac Mini. I recently updated to macOS Monterey 12.6, which according to https://developer.apple.com/support/xcode/ is sufficient to run XCode 14. But when I go to the App Store it says that I need a newer macOS version. Any suggestions on how I can install XCode 14?
